What is Nest going to announce?
Amazingly, in these days where every product seems to be leaked ahead of time, Nest has kept whatever it’s launching firmly under wraps. Recently it released a new security camera – the Nest IQ – and also unveiled a cheaper version of its thermostat called the Nest Themostat E. Given these, it’s unlikely that we’ll see another camera or thermostat. A new version of the Nest Protect isn’t what we’d call a “big” announcement, which means we could well see a new category of device. Jim has been testing and reviewing products for over 20 years.
