The report from the House of Lords Select Committee on the Social and Economic Impact of the Gambling Industry recommends that ministers declare that “loot boxes and any other similar games are games of chance,” bringing them under the purview of the Gambling Act 2005. A recent Insider build of the OS is to blame, where all are currently marked as disabled. These were spotted by eagle-eyed user Albacore, who has a strong reputation for Windows leaks.
